Role Overview:
We are looking for an inspiring, purpose driven and experienced Sales Manager with a passion for sustainability and outstanding sales record. The Sales Manager will help us meet our members acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our organisation competitive and innovative. The Sales Manager will be responsible for our growth and maximising our sales team potential.

Key Responsibilities
• Own recruiting, goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of all BDMs and Senior BDMs
• Assess current team processes, identify opportunities for improvement and act upon them
• Interpreting and preparing accurate commercial data reports, including the production of sales and pipeline reports, performance summaries and updates on specific project actions.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for maintaining quality and compliance systems for Planet Mark and its products, ensuring the organisation is adhering to regulatory and certification standards.

This role will require collaborative project management and close working relationships with the commercial and operations teams to ensure the timely delivery of product development and that all company products meet the customers’ expectations and demands.

This role will implement product development polices, objectives and initiatives to support and grow the continued success of Planet Mark. Working across all functions of the business to lead the research, evaluation, and development of potential new product solutions you will ensure these are market leading and scalable. Leading a team that are subject matter specialists for strategic market analytics and trends.

Key Responsibilities
Quality and Compliance
• Responsible for maintaining the company Quality management system in line with UKAS and equivalent international quality standards (including ISO9001)
• Responsible for planning and conducting regular quality meetings to ensure the SLT and staff are informed on quality issues.
• Management of the business champions team
• Undertaking internal quality audits
• Monitoring the ongoing performance and outputs of the quality process
• Researching and reviewing customer feedback and use this to change any quality processes.
• Undertaking duties of the Data Protection Officer
• Ensuring that the business is compliant with relevant privacy, data protection and GDPR legislation
• Any other duties assigned as the company deems appropriate 

Legal
• Working with our external solicitors and our directors to ensure all legal issues are appropriately managed and documents are fit for purpose and updated as necessary
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and adherence to standard legal documentation, including service agreements, contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
• Any other duties assigned as the company deems appropriate 

Qualifications / Experience:
• Experienced in an accredited Quality Management System.
• Qualification or similar and skilled in ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field
• Previous experience as Data Protection Officer and a working understanding of GDPR
• Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
• Experience with personally completing risk assessments and auditing processes.
• Excellent communication skills

Salary:
This is a part-time position. Start date April.
Negotiable and dependant on experience but expected to be in the region of FTE £35,000 – £40,000

Overview

As Sustainability Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for working directly with Planet Mark members to help shape and define sustainability and ESG strategy for their organisations. Depending on the client and project, you could be responsible for helping shape strategies to support climate resilience, net zero transformation, climate change mitigation and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with members to deliver bespoke sustainability and ESG strategy
• Analyse strategic sustainability priorities and how they are tracked and executed across the organization
• Engage directly with stakeholders and executives to define their strategic vision, sustainability motivations, and roadmap, with supporting business cases
• Leverage the Planet Mark Strategy and Research teams to understand latest thinking and help inform decision making
• Collaborate across various teams within the member organizations
• Continuously contribute to thought leadership and perform ongoing market research related to innovation, providing insight on industry trends, technology, challenges, and leading practices
• Maximize the value proposition from the engagement by reducing cost and time to market for initiatives

Key Requirements

• Degree in: Business, Economics, Management, Strategy, Analytics or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in previously in consultancy or professional services environment

Description:
We are looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to assist our growing certification team. You will be working with customers of all sizes, from SMEs to large corporates, delivering carbon footprint analyses and verifications, SECR submissions and scope 3 screening to support our industry leading Net Zero Programme.

The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, have a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers, sustainability, and excellent customer relationship skills.

Key responsibilities:

– Project manage and deliver sustainability consulting that is primarily data and footprint based, including scope 3 screening (extended categories e.g. cat 1 and cat 15), SECR, sustainability engagement, research and policy and Net-Zero Carbon planning
– Consider and improve processes in collaboration with the head of certification and the team
– Conduct verifications of GHG assessments completed by third-party analysts to ensure quality
– Undertaking non-financial reporting in terms of Social Value analysis.
– Assist in the preparation of tenders for advisory services
– Manage and mentor junior members of the team
– Attend customer meetings to discuss progress and outputs for projects
– Create and win proposals for new advisory work

Required Skills & Experience:

– At least 3 years’ experience in carbon footprint accounting and knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting and standards e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064
– Demonstrated experience in scope 3 screening (cat 1 to cat 15)
– Experience in audit/verifications of corporate carbon footprints using a variety of standards, including ideally ISO 14064-3
– Previous experience in preparing and winning proposals and projects for sustainability consulting
– Industry qualification (e.g. IEMA)
– Demonstrable work experience within corporate sustainability and environmental management services
– Strong mathematical and analytical background

Salary:
Negotiable and depending on experience.

Hours:
At Planet Mark, we support a healthy work-life balance by all staff working a nine-day fortnight. Our hours are 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday with every other Friday off.

Location:
Working from home four days per week with team office days (currently Wednesdays) in London. If you are not within commutable distance to London, you will need to be able to travel into the London office once per quarter for strategy and team days.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Carbon Consultant with an exceptional eye for detail, and excellent data analyst skills, to assist our growing certification team. The certification team forms the heart of the Planet Mark, analysing our clients’ Scope 1, 2 and 3 data to allow their accreditation to the prestigious Planet Mark certification scheme.

As well as working with their data you will be dealing directly with our clients that range from start-ups, SMEs to large corporates, delivering carbon footprint analyses, carbon footprint verifications against ISO standards , SECR submissions, social value calculations, Scope 3 screening and more. Hence experience in client management is also essential. This role would ideally suit professionals with experience in client facing carbon and energy consultancy roles with a background in science or engineering.

Key Responsibilities

– Conducting carbon footprint assessments and reporting using sustainability management software – from dealing with the client’s initial data submission, any data deficiencies, analysing their footprint and preparing and delivering their report.

– Conducting verifications of GHG assessments completed by third-party analysts to ensure quality and undertaking non-financial reporting in terms of Social Value analysis.

– Assisting in the preparation of tenders for advisory services.

– Project management and delivery of sustainability consulting that is primarily data and footprint based, including scope 3 screening, SECR, carbon calculators, sustainability engagement, research and policy and Net-Zero Carbon planning.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

– Strong mathematical and analytical background.

– Excellent project management skills with a proven track-record of leading and developing customer relationships.

– Demonstrable work experience within corporate sustainability and environmental management services.

– At least 2 years’ experience in carbon footprint accounting and knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting and standards e.g. GHG Protocol

– Experience in audit/verifications of corporate carbon footprints using a variety of standards, ideally ISO 14064-3.

– Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and excellent IT skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience

– Knowledge of SECR, experience in scope 3 screening, development, and delivery of sustainability strategies for businesses.

– Experience in preparing and winning proposals and projects for sustainability consulting.

– Experience working with large, multinational companies, either in house or as consultancy.

– Experience in sustainability engagement and communications.

This is a full-time position, working remotely from home with optional weekly team meetings in London. Due to continued growth of our business, recruitment for this role is ongoing and therefore start date is flexible.

Salary: negotiable and dependent on experience but expected to lay in the region of £28-36k.
