The company is dedicated to minimising the environmental impact of its business operations, reducing waste and investing in green technologies. This is supported by on-site Sustainability Managers responsible for achieving sustainable design aspirations including achieving target BREEAM ratings.

Looking to strengthen its environmental credentials, Pexhurst Services Ltd will be working with Planet Mark to measure and reduce its carbon emissions and share its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, it will be able to increase its positive impact significantly and hopes to encourage continual improvements within its community.

The company has also be measuring its social value contributions. This refers to the net social and environmental benefits generated by its team. Measuring its social value gives a holistic insight into its positive contributions to not only the environment but also to society, demonstrating its commitment to meaningfully contribute to a better planet for all.

Through Planet Mark, Pexhurst Services Ltd will be protecting an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth directly supports the Asháninka community in Central Peru.

It will also be helping the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.
