Certification story

As pioneers in light and pixel technology, Pixel Artworks design and deliver awe-inspiring shared immersive experiences for clients looking to build unique, deep and lasting connections with people.

This is Pixel Artworks’ second year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. Achieving the Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.

Over the next year, the company will continue to work towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, the company will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.

Steve Malkin
Founder and CEO
Planet Mark
“Congratulations on the second year of Planet Mark certification to the team at Pixel Artworks. This is an important first step of a sustainability journey, as without clear measurements and targets, success is so much harder to achieve. Pixel Artworks has laid the foundation for systemic change in their organisation, and this should be applauded. Well done to everyone involved.”

Pixel Artworks has made a number of commitments to sustainability beyond its pledge to cut carbon emissions year-on-year. The company has pledged to conserve an acre of rainforest in Peru through a collaboration with Cool Earth. Pixel Artworks is also working to promote education about sustainability and nature with the Eden Project, as well as committing to spreading sustainable best practices through its network of stakeholders.

From waste products at festivals to the catering at COP26, there is a spotlight on the sustainability of events and creative productions like never before. Companies operating in this space must realise their increased responsibility to act ethically. A robust sustainability strategy not only helps to manage environmental outcomes but also demonstrates positive intent to prospective and existing clients.
